We're Expecting !!!

The cardinals are back! Nesting just outside our dining room window again.

Here is Mom-To-Be, hanging out.

I egg sat (not literally) while Mom-To-Be left for a few minutes.

Time to put up another bird blind in the dining room.

New Server Cabinet

I'm finally getting over the PPD I've been suffering from this past week. Post Pesach Disorder, in case you were wondering. Or, if you are Uncle Sysfrog, Pre Pesach Disorder.

In other exciting news, my boss picked up a new server cabinet on Friday.

I have some good ideas of what it can be used for before it gets set up:

1. Next person who crashes the server gets a Time Out.

2. I always wanted a walk in closet.

3. I will stand in it, and alternate between announcing "Going Up!" and "Going Down!"

4. We are going to lower it into the ocean and go swimming with the sharks.

Anyone have any other ideas?

The Parentals in Prospect Park and 'Name That Bird'

Continuing with a recent Spring flower theme ...

After Rafi S's bar mitzvah lunch in Brooklyn,
the Parentals went to the Prospect Park Botanical Gardens.

Although the cherry blossoms have barely started to bloom,
the place was packed.

In additon to a huge number of amateur photographers, there were
Turtles,
Fish,

and Does anyone know what kind of bird this is? My Pi thinks an eagle but I don't.

Fun in the Park on Sunday and Monday

On Sunday, went to the office for some peace and quiet. Pandora played, I sang along, walked around barefoot(wait a second, I do that all the time),checked my email, got a head start on Monday ... ah, was nice.
But first went to the park for a 1 1/2 hour walk. Felt my blood pressure drop with each minute. Wildflowers!!! Took 120 photos...
For more pictures, check out http://rahwayriverpark.blogspot.com/ Even if you don't normally follow this blog, it is worth a look this time.

On Monday , went for my morning walk, and the car decided to stay.

Self explanatory

This is the stop we made on the way home to break into the car these people were locked out of. I offered to hop off the truck and say I'm here from AAA, but I didn't have the snappy uniform.

The last time I was towed (5 years ago) I stopped off at a garden center and bought 1 bromeliad which has since multiplied into about 15.

We passed right by Bed Bath and Beyond on the way home, and I would have asked the guy to stop for a few minutes, but I didn't have any coupons with me.

The Guaranteed Absolutely Last Cute Bunny Post On This Blog Ever

Some people have been complaining that I have had too many cute baby bunny posts.

So as not to hear any more babyaching, this is the Guaranteed Absolutely Last Cute Bunny Post On This Blog Ever.

As a grand finale, here is the Nabaztag Wi-Fi Internet Rabbit.

Watch it in action, http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_Tw7RG5J0RY

Just for the record, the bunnies never did much to generate hits on this blog. On the other hand, hits on my Rahway River Blog have been going way up.

And there are no bunnies, baby, cute, or otherwise, whatsoever on that blog.
