Handsome Guy in the Backyard!

I've seen this handsome guy (gal?) in the backyard several times, usually running through. When my camera is nowhere in sight of course.

This time however he was out for a stroll and my camera was at hand.

He stopped to pose.

Nice bushy tail.

What if Your Home Appliances Joined a Labor Union?

I see all kinds of interesting things on my way to work.

Was sitting in traffic and kept passing and getting passed by this truck and noticed the advert on the back.

Couldn't figure out what the tag line "Crown Boiler - Designed to Lead," was supposed to mean. Couldn’t think of a leadership role for my hot water boiler. Thought maybe I was missing something.

So I thought along the lines of the movie "Chicken Run" where chickens, lead by Mel Gibson (before Mel Gibson became so unsavory,) hatch an escape plan to avoid landing in hot water, but then I realized that that was Broiler not Boiler.

Checking the Crown Broiler site I found out that they do indeed sell hot water boilers.

Next thought. So maybe they are bragging about their ability to add the element lead (Pb, Atomic Number: 82) to the water? Could be...

Or maybe their hot water boilers do assume a leadership role among home appliances when we are not there (think Toy Story). Like organizing an Appliance Labor Union - "Lower Electric Rates for All!", "More Time Off", "Better Working Conditions", "We Want Out of the Basement", etc.

When the time comes, remember I own the movie rights, not Crown Boiler. And I don't want Mel Gibson to have a part.

Best Shopping Cart With Child Seat Ever

RUN to Home Depot to check this out!

Why didn't they have this when I was a kid?

I'm wondering if I could fit in the seat?

An Afternoon at Sandy Hook - Cont

A few minutes after I took these photos, I was sitting on one of the rocks and got swamped by a wave. I was soaked from the waist down on my right side. I had said I wanted to go swimming.

Luckily my camera did not get wet.

And the fleece I was wearing kept me warm even though it was wet. I love high tech clothes!

This little guy got thrown back by the fisherman. I hope he is ok (the ray)

These two looked like they just walked off of the Ark.

Anthropomorphic Hibiscus Flower

Usually, when a hibiscus flower dies, it curls up like this and resembles a cocoon.

However, a one point this summer, conditions must have been right for the flowers to curl up like this:

Did You and Your Cake the Patient

Question: What do the following 3 sentences have in common?
Did you at UK to the patient?
Did you and you cant the patient?
Did you and your cake the patient

Answer: They are Google Voice Recognition's attempt at understanding the following question:

Did you educate the patient?

In case you are wondering ... I had to type up some questions the other day.  Since I am the Guinness world record holder for "World's WOrst TYpist," I decided to try Google Voice Recognition instead of typing.

I am usually a big fan of  Google Voice Recognition, but for some reason, it had a problem with my pronunciation of the word "Educate" .

Here is another entertaining example of lost in translation:
