Ridiculous Warning Label

Set up a new printer for one of our users. Was very entertained by the warning label on the silica desiccant that was in the packaging.

The sad thing is, I am sure they put this warning label on after someone ate the silica and sued them.

Going Out With a Pop

Something usually blows up or breaks down right before Yom Tov. Appliances are not built to handle such loads. And if by some chance the appliances don't crumble, there is going to be some other crisis. Murphy's Law practically guarantees it.

We personally have experienced just before or during various yom tovs: the oven not getting hot, the fridge not staying cold, a raccoon taking up residence in the attic, drains clogging and generally also overflowing (this is the most frequent), etc.

And it's not just us. Fire engines are frequently seen on the block pre Yom Tov.

This year we got off easy. When cleaning the kitchen, I heard a pop from under the sink.

I think it looks quite artistic.
