A building blew up on route 27 near Plainfield Avenue at 4:30 am this morning.
When we came by in the evening, the rubble was still smoking.

I am really slipping. I didn't go over to interview the news guy like I should have.

interesting, it looks like the house had wooden siding before they installed the plastic ones. And it seems to have withstood the heat!
I'm not entirely surprised. If the flames were never actually in direct contact with the second house, I can see the outer shingles serving as a decent insulator.
